About Us

Visual Artists was started in 2004 by a Scottish painter.  His goal was to give artists across Scotland a chance to display and sell their art, without prejudice or discrimination.

Visual Artists does not require a certain level of education from their artists.  We will display any artist's work and help them to market it as long as they are based in Scotland, and their work is of a high quality.  We search for diversity, so the fact that our artists have learned their skills from different people, in different countries and even in different centuries is nothing but a bonus for us and our customers.

Our Philosophy
Art is frivolous - it is not a necessity so it should be made affordable so that everyone can own something they find beautiful. 
Art is subjective - people like different works for different reasons, and so our goal is to make a wide range of styles and subjects available so everyone can find something they want to own.
